21Shares Files S-1 for Solana ETF with SEC, Coinbase to Custody Holdings

On June 28, 21Shares submitted an S-1 application to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a spot Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF), to be named the 21Shares Core Solana ETF. This marks the second SEC filing for a spot SOL ETF, following VanEck’s submission on June 27. The proposed ETF is slated to trade on the Cboe BZX Exchange, with Coinbase acting as the custodian for the fund’s Solana holdings, all of which will be privately insured.
